Cankat Oguz.
Multidisciplinary Sr. Art Director & Creative, designer and some more…
I started designing in my high school years,
doing local work, for local people, local businesses
—even for the local football team.
My professional career began in 2010 at an international digital advertising agency, where I had the chance to work on various projects for clients in diverse industries, ending up leading a team of art directors and copywriters.
Since 2017, I’ve been working as the Sr. Art Director & Creative at Dinahmoe.
Since 2018, I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a jury member for the FWA, helping to recognize and celebrate the best in design –and watching cartoons as a daily work.

I’ve designed for high-profile clients such as Formula 1 and created unique projects for some friends. I’ve also had the privilege of working with creative industry giants like Tim Kring, Christopher Sandberg and Timo Kiuru.
BELA BARTOK: “COMPETITIONS ARE FOR HORSES, NOT ARTISTS.”
Throughout my career, I’ve been honored with numerous awards, including multiple FWAs, accolades from CSS Design Awards, and Awwwards.
From my agency days, I’ve earned Golden Spiders, Felises, and a few Crystal Apples. I was also featured in Advertising Age’s “30 under 30” article (probably when I was under 30…).

I also have a knack for development. I build my own websites and handle some interactive design at Dinahmoe, merging creative vision with technical skills to bring ideas to life -when no one is looking.

In addition to my professional experience, I hold a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a PhD (somewhere around) in Graphic Design -with a 200 pages of a thesis about interactivity.
These academic achievements have provided a solid foundation for my creative process, helping me to refine my skills and approach each project with a critical eye—while also giving me something impressive to frame and hang on my wall.

…and sometimes I give future designers and design professors the hard truths and a few laughs “-I would like to sing you a few songs from my own repertoire.”
When I’m not working, you’ll find me doodling on my cereal box, experimenting with glow-in-the-dark origami, or plotting the next big thing in time-traveling art installations; or in some reality, visiting my car mechanic to fix my classic Beetle.
My creative playground is a wild world where every idea gets its moment in the spotlight—be it designing a wearable plant suit or composing symphonies for rubber duckies.
