///////////////////// CASE STORY
WE Universe
Connecting mind, body, and spirit in a new way…
WE; the new path to mindfullness, family of apps that are built on three pillars; musical, personal and connected… The full branding, mobile apps, digital designs and more…
This is just another case story that I don’t remember how it began…
WE Universe started as a concept pitched by Johan and Drasko—probably during one of those late-night brainstorming sessions that always lead to something bigger. I distinctly remember the moment they asked, half-jokingly, ‘So, tell us, what does life really mean after nearly 10 years in India?’ That kicked off a conversation where I shared stories from my time in Goa, meditating on beaches and soaking up the essence of mindfulness – or techno parties…
…or maybe the story didn’t start in this way and they didn’t give me any brief.

But here’s what I do remember: I decided to incorporate the Om symbol into the branding. After nearly a decade living in India, the idea just felt natural, like it had been sitting in the back of my mind waiting for the right moment to make an appearance.
Of course, no one asked for it—Johan and Drasko were more concerned with the app’s functionality than ancient symbolism— and of course I didn’t spend my days in deep meditation or under a Banyan tree (let’s be honest, I probably spent more time on my laptop than I should admit), but the essence of Om stuck with me. And just like that, WE Universe began to take shape, blending modern technology with ancient wisdom, all through a single symbol.
The design was all about taking the Om symbol and transforming it into something fresh. In fact, the WE logo is literally formed from the Om. It wasn’t about keeping the traditional look, but rather reinterpreting it for a modern, digital space.
The idea was to create something that felt familiar yet new, where people didn’t need to recognize the Om at first glance for it to work. Of course, it took some time for people to catch on, but once they did, it clicked—and suddenly, WE wasn’t just a logo; it was a symbol of connection and mindfulness.

The family of WE apps are built into 3 main pillars. Musical, personal and connected…
Music is a universal language that crosses cultures, bypasses our analytical self and touches us directly on the deepest emotional level.
Personal; we are all unique, and so is our path to mindfullness. Each session can be tailored to fit our personal needs, and flexible scheduling helps to create good habbits.
Connected; mindfullness is a personal experience but the aspiration is shared by many. We tap into the power of togetherness through publis and private sessions where you practive mindfullness with others.
The WE Universe mobile app features a clean and simple design aimed at making mindfulness accessible. This mockup shows the breathing exercise screen, where users can easily adjust the duration and intensity of their session. The minimal interface focuses on functionality, offering a calming color palette and straightforward controls. It’s designed to guide users without distraction, allowing them to focus on their mindfulness practice.
Johan and Drasko’s reactions to the designs were… well, weirdly positive. After the presentation, I was expecting the usual critique, but instead, Johan just stared at the screen and said, ‘Huh… I like it.’ No follow-up, no questions—just that. Drasko, not one to be outdone, nodded and added, ‘Yeah, it’s… good. I think it might actually work.’ It was the kind of reaction where you’re not entirely sure if they’re surprised that they like it, or if they’re waiting for something to go wrong. Either way, they were on board from the start—though I’m still convinced they were trying to figure out why.
‘I like it… I think?’

In the end, WE Universe wasn’t just another project. It became a reflection of my journey—nearly a decade living in India, absorbing the culture, the spirituality, and, whether I realized it or not, the lessons in simplicity. Those years, spent in Goa working as a nomad, somehow seeped into every part of this project, from the Om-inspired logo to the clean and minimal mobile designs, all the way to the full branding and motion graphics.
Each decision, each design element, felt like a piece of the larger puzzle, a culmination of experiences that had shaped not only this project, but my approach to design itself. I took something ancient and deeply symbolic and molded it into something modern and accessible. WE Universe wasn’t just about mindfulness for the users—it was, in many ways, a creative exercise in mindfulness for me. And looking back, I can’t help but feel that every brief, every weird pause from Johan and Drasko, was leading to this.
